Bio

Just a little about me...

I was born and raised in southern California. I think teaching, especially Physical Education, is in my blood. My mother was a PE teacher and coach. My father was a History teacher, Baseball Coach and Athletic Director.

I went to Humboldt State University from '91 - '97, where I was able to play 4 years of volleyball for the college team. I graduated with a Liberal Arts degree and got my credentials in: Multiple Subjects, English and Physical Education.

I taught 6th grade for 8 years in Merced, at Weaver Elementary.

I was then fortunate to be able to move up here and teach English Core at Alder Creek Middle School for 4 years.

Since then I have been teaching PE and Technology at Tahoe Lake Elementary. I love this little school and am so proud to be part of this amazing staff.
