π CARD FAMILY FITNESS π
Directions: Get a set of playing cards (if you don’t have a set, have the kids make them! You can use these in a variety of ways.
- You can use the entire deck and set a timer for 5 minutes (or longer), choosing cards and performing the exercise with GOOD FORM as quick as you can! However, you may be challenged to do 16 burpees in a row if all four Kings are picked! ☺ WHOOHOO!
- You can organize your stack by only pulling out one of each card, shuffle them, and go through the entire deck allowing each family member to choose a card performing ALL the exercises.
- OR you can use this as a great ‘BRAIN BREAK’ if you feel your kids are needing some time away from their studies. Have the stack of cards nearby with the key. Have them choose a few cards to get their bodies moving & minds stimulated before sitting back down to continue their work.

A π± – 15 Jumping Jacks
K π – 4 Burpees
Q π – 25 Side-T0-Side Ski Jumps
J π« – 4 Push-Ups
10 πΊ – Squats
9 π – Curl-Ups
8 π – hold the tree pose for 8 seconds (both sides)
7 π§– bear crawl for seven seconds
6 πΆ – Plank for 30 seconds
5 π – 10 Lunges (5 forward & 5 backward)
4 π – Arm Circles (4 forward & 4 backward)
3 π£ – Mountain Climbers
2 π² – frog jumps
