Card Family Fitness

πŸƒ‘ CARD FAMILY FITNESS πŸ‚­

Directions:  Get a set of playing cards (if you don’t have a set, have the kids make them!  You can use these in a variety of ways.  

  1. You can use the entire deck and set a timer for 5 minutes (or longer), choosing cards and performing the exercise with GOOD FORM as quick as you can!  However, you may be challenged to do 16 burpees in a row if all four Kings are picked! WHOOHOO!
  2. You can organize your stack by only pulling out one of each card, shuffle them, and go through the entire deck allowing each family member to choose a card performing ALL the exercises.
  3. OR you can use this as a great ‘BRAIN BREAK’ if you feel your kids are needing some time away from their studies.  Have the stack of cards nearby with the key. Have them choose a few cards to get their bodies moving & minds stimulated before sitting back down to continue their work.

Q πŸƒ – 25 Side-T0-Side Ski Jumps         
J πŸ‚« – 4 Push-Ups
10 πŸ‚Ί – Squats
9 πŸƒ™ – Curl-Ups
8 πŸƒˆ – hold the tree pose for 8 seconds (both sides)
7 πŸ‚§– bear crawl for seven seconds
6 πŸ‚Ά – Plank for 30 seconds
5 πŸƒ• – 10 Lunges  (5 forward & 5 backward)
4 πŸƒ„ – Arm Circles (4 forward & 4 backward)
3 πŸ‚£ – Mountain Climbers 
2 πŸ‚² – frog jumps
